Lil’ Critters Gummies MultiVitamins Review

Recently I was on the market for a new multivitamin for my little ones because Im always concerned they arent getting all their vitamins and minerals through what they eat. Which is probably true. So when I took them shopping they both got extremely excited when we passed by the Disney Multivitamins. So I decided to buy them and try them, and my kids were very happy! They were at my local grocery store at $12.99 for 60 gummies. They taste great, they have a notable amount of vitamins per gummy. They come with 3 delicious flavors in one bottle, orange, grape, and cherry. My kids love it when I give them one in the morning they get excited trying to see which character they got. I went with the Disney Cars ones but they have Disney Princesses, Paw Patrol, and Barbie as well.

I haven’t seen the Cars ones in a few years but now they have Paw Patrol Gummy Vitamins and they taste just as amazing and are just as good for your little ones!

How to keep a sick kid comfortable!

Here are some tips to keep your sick kid comfortable.

If its the flu:

Running a fever? Use Tylenol or Advil. Offer plenty of clear fluids. Try getting them to have a cool bath to bring down the fever. If they wont have a bath give them a Popsicle. I make my own using jello. Just prepare the jello as you normally would and then pour it into Popsicle molds. They melt slower and keep their flavor! If they are over the age of 2 you can give children's Gravol. Keep spare blankets, sheets and jammies close by because children don't give much warning when they throw up, expect some messes.Relax and read some books, do a puzzle or watch a movie. Encourage them to rest and you should rest while they do, you might be in for a night of throwing up!

If its a cold:

Use super soft Kleenex, little noses get raw and sore quickly. Try a steam bath in your bathroom. Turn on the shower to extremely hot as well as the sink an sit or stand in the bathroom with your child. Do not leave your child in the bathroom alone! Use a humidifier in their bedroom. Prop their mattress up with an extra pillow or blanket, the elevation helps keep their noses from plugging and therefor makes it easier to breathe. Use saline spray or drops in their nose. Prepare for some hugs and cuddles your baby is gonna need your undivided attention! I wish you all the best and get well soon!

Orange Fudge

I absolutely love orange flavored Aero bars, and Terry's chocolate oranges! I also loooooove fudge! So I got to thinking what if I made a delicious orange flavored fudge? Sounds great right!? It is amazing! I used my favorite fudge recipe from the Jet Puffed Marshmallow Cream Jar and added a tsp of my favorite orange oil I buy from Amazon Boyajian Pure Orange Oil :

Ingredients

    1 7oz jar marshmallow creme
2 cups chocolate chips (or chip flavor of choice)
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    5 oz low-fat evaporated milk
    3 c. granulated sugar
    1 t. vanilla extract
    1 t. Boyajian Orange Oil

Directions

Line a 13x9 baking dish with foil. Set aside.

Combine margarine, evaporated milk and sugar in a large pot over medium heat. Stirring very frequently, bring to a simmer. Once mixture is simmering steadily, set timer for 5 minutes and cook, stirring very frequently, scraping sides to ensure all sugar gets mixed in.

At the end of 5 minutes remove from heat. Immediately stir in marshmallow creme, chocolate chips and vanilla extract and orange oil. Stir vigorously until all ingredients are incorporated and mix is smooth. Pour into prepared pan and let stand 2 to 4 hours or until solid.

Cut and enjoy!

All Natural Microwave Cleaner

So today I tackled one of my least favorite jobs, cleaning the microwave. Now since I try to save money and like using what I have on hand, doesnt hurt that its all natural I used my all natural cleaning method. You will need:

  • small bowl
  • lemon juice
  • baking soda
  • hot water
  • scrubber or sponge
  • dry rag

First add 2 Tbsp of baking soda to your bowl.

Then add 1 1/2 Tbsp of lemon juice to the baking soda.

Your gonna activate the baking soda, its gonna bubble almost to the top. Let the bubbles settle and then add 1 cup of hot water to your bowl.

This is what my microwave looked like before.

Kinda hard to see but I promise its dirty.

See. Ewwwwww.

Now put the bowl in the microwave for 2 mins. If it bowls over thats fine your gonna be scrubbing it anyways. Once its done take the bowl out and dump it in the sink. Get scrubbing! Since the lemon juice steamed inside the microwave it will be super easy to wipe down.

And here is the end result. Spotless!

Looks great doesnt it!

So clean it shines!
