Getting outdoors helps your mind heal!
We love to be outdoors together. The fact that we go out of cell service is so freeing and relieving that it gives us time to connect with each other on a screen free level. Our minds are on the task at hand like hiking, tracking, shooting and navigating our journey. Giving your mind that break can help recharge your inner battery and talk about topics that gets so muddled by social media and the news.
Hunting is great teamwork!
When you walk through the woods together hunting an animal you need to anticipate each other’s actions, learn each other’s cues, and be quiet and calm together in a very exciting situation. When you are sharing guns and passing each other tools (such as a pvs14 night vision monocular) you need to work together and cooperate in ways you wouldn’t normally at home. Then making the decision to take a life and process the animal is a whole different experience you learn together. Having the right equipment can make all the difference to your teamwork as well. Going well-equipped allows you both to be safe and ready for anything. Stocking up on the right ammo (you can buy bulk ammo online if needed), as well as having reflective vests, and good boots, will keep you both comfortable, focused, and ready.
Hunting keeps the excitement alive!
You never know what you are going to find in the forest of BC. With a reliable Thermold AR magazine and proper safety equipment in place, we have come across moose, wolves, coyotes, bobcats, deer, bears, and lots of small game. Having the right gear, from durable scopes to weather-resistant clothing, makes all the difference in these encounters. We have come face to face with big bears and moose and it can be quite a rush when you start lining up your shot with your high powered rifle, especially when you're well-prepared with backup equipment and a clear shooting position.
Hunting keeps you both healthy!
We walk for hours and hours some days deep in the forest and come up empty handed. We walk over fallen trees, along muddy creek sides, up hills, down in gullies and so many other places. We eat the healthiest food when we get into wild game, no antibiotics or steroids, just Mother Nature!
