The top 3 reasons every new parent needs an instant pot

Don’t be fooled! I too thought that the instant pot was another name for a crock pot and while it does function in similar ways, it is such a useful tool that every new parent needs to have in their repertoire. The perks to owning this handy-dandy appliance are bountiful. With very little space needed, you can use it to warm bottles, make yogurt, applesauce, and other snacks or warm up a quick dinner. The opportunities are endless! This article will highlight in more detail the top 3 reasons that every new parent needs an instant pot.

  1. Use it to warm bottles. Have you ever felt like you needed more arms because as a new parent there is just so much to juggle at one time? Opening the microwave door or fixing a pot to boil water so that you can warm up a bottle is quite a hassle when you have a little one roaring at the top of their lungs out of hunger. The instant pot is a simple and easy appliance to use to help warm up things such as a bottle. Totally convenient as it can sit on your countertop without taking up much space, you can have your bottles ready to go and a few moments later it will be warmed up. An instant pot truly takes the stress out of a busy morning and decreases the time it will take you to get a bottle ready for your hungry baby.

  1. Heats up a dinner in less time. Have you ever had the desire to make a great dinner for your family in the crockpot only to find out that you need to have at least 4-6 hours of cooking time to do so? That is the number one deterrent to me using my crockpot more often. I never plan that far ahead. The beauty of an instant pot is that you can create a great dinner in a shorter amount of time which is great if you are busy all day at work and then you get home and don’t have much time to throw something together.

  1. Saves counter space. Sometimes crockpots are large and they take up a great deal of space on your counter top. With an instant pot, you don’t have to worry about that as it takes up very little room which means that you can leave it out all the time. This is convenient as you won’t have to dig it out from the recesses of your cabinets to use it!

There are many other reasons to use an instant pot as a mom. Whether you are making homemade yogurt or need to cook up a quick batch of rice, the instant pot is a great investment and something you will use all the time. A few months ago my daughter's little chair that goes with her table she sits at every day tore and she made it worse by pulling all of the stuffing out of the seat! What started out as a quick fix turned into a great idea. She loved her seat so much that she has now decided that her table has look cool too so being the smarty pants that she is, she tore her table!
