Common Phone Problems and How to Fix Them

No matter how high-tech things are nowadays, unfortunately, it isn't always perfect, and there are many problems one can face when using technology. Having issues on your phone can be quite frustrating as it usually happens in the worst times. So here is a list of common phone issues that one might face and how you can react instantly and fix them.

Running Slow

One of the most common phone issues that is also the most frustrating one is running slow. In most cases that means that your phone is outdated and you need to purchase a new updated one. But if you already have a newer phone that can mean that something on it is slowing it down. In most cases, it means that your phone is filled with junk such as apps that you don't use and they eat up your RAM. All you need to do is wipe all the unnecessary apps as well as clean the cache data. It will make your phone run much smoother and faster.

Poor Battery Life

It is no secret that phones nowadays have poor battery life. The most common issues are slow charging, charging failure and fast battery draining. It is partly because we are glued to our phones, but sometimes it will mean that there is a different issue. What you can do about it is find out which apps are draining your battery the most as well as turning on battery saving mode as well as dimming the brightness.

Storage Space

Most of our phones are filled with videos and photos. If you know that you have a lot of them, make sure that you are purchasing a phone that has more storage or that you can buy more if needed. But if you don't have the option to buy more storage and you are struggling with storage you can start by deleting the cache first. Another thing that you need to do is delete all the unnecessary apps as well as images or videos that you don't need.

Phone or App Crashes

There is nothing more annoying than having your phone or app crash. The first thing that you should do is clear all the data from the app manager. You should always avoid using multiple apps at the same time. If your phone is still struggling and crashing makes sure that you do a factory reset and then only install apps that you need.

Cracked Screen or Immersion in Water

As all the phones are big and made out of fragile glass, they are bound to break, especially when you are prone to dropping your phone. Sometimes it will also fall into the water. It is a very common occurrence. To avoid the glass from breaking, put on a screen protector and a mask. You can also find ones that will make the phone waterproof. But if you already dropped your phone make sure that you take it to a professional who specialises in phone repairs.

Connecting Problem With Bluetooth, WIFI, Cellular Network

If you are struggling with turning on Bluetooth, WIFI or anything of that sort, all you need to do is turn on your aeroplane mode for about a minute and try to reconnect to whatever you are trying.

Apps Not Downloading

There are many reasons why your apps are not downloading. The most common reason why that is happening is that you have a corrupt cache. All you need to do is go to the Store app and clear all the cache apps. Another thing that you need to ensure is that you are using the latest version of the store.

Synchronization Issue

Another common thing that people are facing is their phones not syncing. When that is happening, it means that your phone is not backing up and you can potentially lose your things. In most cases, it will resolve itself on its own, but if it doesn't you can make sure that the connection is working correctly. Another thing that you can do is make sure that the system updates are all done.

But if your phone is beyond repair you should accept that and move on and get yourself a new phone.
