Trending Pendants And Necklaces For 2022

Who doesn’t enjoy searching online for necklaces, earrings, and rings that tickle their fancy?

If you are someone who loves all things gold, silver, and sparkly, then it is likely that youll be looking for some new pieces to add to your jewelry collection in 2022. And while some of the trending pendants and necklaces have already been popular, many designers have reinvented the looks and now, you can add a simple touch of on-trend chic to almost any outfit.

So, without further ado, what are some of the trending designs for necklaces and pendants in 2022?

Pearls

Pearls have a timeless quality to them and whether you are heading out for a fancy dinner or attending a board meeting, they always ooze sophistication and class.

The likes of Yves Saint Laurent have bought these shimmering beauties back into the necklace and pendant trend for 2022, showcasing abstract and regularly-shaped pearlsalongside each other in some showstopping pieces. So, if you are looking to add some pearly whites to your jewelry collection, head over to jewelry sites like Chapter 79 and browse their pearl collections.

Hearts

Everyone loves heart necklaces, and, unlike other designs, they come in such a range of styles and designs that it seems there’s one to suit any outfit.

Heart-shaped necklaces have been reborn in 2022 thanks to Alexander McQueen, showcasing diamond heart-shaped necklaces set in gold, with striking purple amethysts and red rubies, giving a very regal look to the pieces. So, if you are a fan of heart necklaces and want to look like royalty, this can be the way to go. But if you want something that is a little less blingy, a simple silver heart-shaped necklace will also go down well and be on trend this year.

Personalized

This seems initially like a trend that went out in 2002, but it seems that pendants and necklaces adorning names have crept back onto the catwalks twenty years on, thanks in part to Gucci.

It seems that nameplates set in gold have been the most commonly spotted on the runways, but in some cases, there have been smaller options seen, usually written in gothic script and made of silver. Set on the end of a Figaro chain, this style seems that it will never truly go out of fashion, making it the ideal investment in a long-lasting fashion piece.

Tennis

No, this isn’t a chain that has a tennis ball charm on the end of it!

The tennis-style choker, necklace, and pendant are made of small, tennis ball-shaped jewels, that go all the way along the length of the necklace, allowing it to lay flat against the skin. At the higher end of the tennis chain necklaces, these jewels are diamonds. If you want something a bit more down-to-earth, you will certainly be able to find a tennis chain comprised of cubic zirconia, and every gem in between.

Chunky Link

This is the statement necklace that is a must-have in 2022.

It looks great with every outfit and is versatile; it can be made from solid gold, silver, wood, or even plastic! But one thing is for sure; if it was showcased by Karen Millen on the runways, its a must-have for your jewelry box!
