Let’s get one thing straight: I’m not your typical influencer.
I don’t spend my days chasing the next flight, planning elaborate outfits for destination photo shoots, or sitting pretty at five-star restaurants with a glass of wine in hand. In fact, I hate crowded events, don’t wear makeup most days, and you’ll never catch me trying to “show off” my body for clicks. That just isn’t me.
I’m not trying to be perfect — I’m trying to be real.
I’m a mom of three. I run a daycare. I live in a home I love and work hard to make it a warm, welcoming place for my family. I’m all about cozy corners, handmade touches, comfort food, early mornings with coffee, and finding joy in the everyday chaos of motherhood and running a business. My kind of content isn’t about luxury — it’s about life. I love my cats and they are definitely very popular on our Instagram, I share everything I write from my blog on there too but the cats are the stars.
Home Is My Happy Place
Influencing, for me, isn’t about jet-setting. It’s about showing how staying home can be just as beautiful. It’s about turning a house into a home with love, laughter, and a bit of creativity. I share tips for moms, daycare-friendly ideas, simple DIY projects, products my family actually uses, and stories that other parents, caregivers, and regular people can relate to.
I don’t need a mansion or a brand deal with a designer label to make an impact. I make a great living doing what I love — promoting the things that make sense for me and my family, writing honestly about the struggles and joys of real life, and being consistent with who I am, not who the internet says I should be.
Influence Is About Connection, Not Perfection
You don’t have to be a supermodel or a rich travel junkie to be an influencer. You just have to show up, be consistent, and be yourself. Share what you love. Post what you’re passionate about. Talk about the hard stuff and the happy stuff, and you’ll find your people.
My daycare business, my family life, and the beautifully chaotic world I live in provide constant inspiration. Whether it’s a tantrum, a breakthrough, a product that makes life easier, or a moment of peace at the end of a long day — that’s the kind of stuff that connects with people.
So… What Kind of Influencer Would You Be?
Maybe you’re more behind the scenes than front and center. Maybe you’d rather share crockpot recipes and thrift finds than makeup tutorials and club pics. That’s more than okay. That’s powerful. There’s a whole world out there that needs real people to speak up and show up in authentic ways.
You don’t need to go viral to make a difference. You don’t need a million followers to help someone, teach something valuable, or brighten someone’s day.
Influence isn’t about fame. It’s about connection.
So don’t wait to be rich, or perfect, or “ready.”
Start where you are. Share your truth.
And remember — being yourself is more than enough.
