I can’t even begin to explain the level of excitement I’m feeling right now—I just landed my first big paying job as a content creator! 🙌 This has been years in the making, and it feels so surreal to finally say that all the late nights, endless brainstorming, and relentless consistency have truly paid off.
Now, because of release dates and contract embargoes, I can’t share too many details about the actual project yet. But what I can say is this: it’s all been worth it. Every post, every share, every time I chose to keep creating when it felt like nobody was watching—it has led me here. And I am beyond proud that I’ve done this while staying true to myself. No shortcuts, no selling my soul, and no flashing my body for attention. Just hard work, creativity, and consistency.
My kids were always giving me trouble for taking photos non stop and posting things all the time and I simply explained that I am doing this for our future. Now that I am making money and working with huge companies testing and reviewing products they completely understand why I’m such a shutterbug.
So smile kids, it’s been so worth it to share our lives with like minded people who want to hear what I have to say.
What I’ve Done to Get Here ✨
It hasn’t been an overnight success—nothing worth having ever is. Here are some of the things I’ve done to earn this milestone:
- Consistently blogged on Funky Frugal Mommy – sharing tips, stories, and ideas that matter to me and my readers.
- Built and nurtured my social media presence – Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and more. Each platform is a piece of the puzzle.
- Stayed authentic – I’ve always believed in creating content that aligns with who I am, not what’s trending just for clicks.
- Learned and adapted – algorithms change, trends shift, but I kept learning and trying new strategies without giving up.
- Networked and connected – building genuine relationships with readers, other creators, and brands.
- Stayed patient and persistent – being “discovered” takes time, but when it happens, it feels incredible.
- Refused to quit – even during slow months when it felt like nothing was happening, I reminded myself why I started.
Why Working Hard at What You Love Is the Secret 💡
This opportunity has reminded me of one simple truth: hard work pays off when you’re doing what you love. It might not always be fast, it might not always be glamorous, but when you stay committed and passionate, doors will open.
I know many people think success as a content creator is about luck or shortcuts—but I’m living proof that authenticity and persistence are what truly matter. If you love what you’re doing, every step (even the tough ones) is worth it.
Final Thoughts ❤️
This is just the beginning for me, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Funky Frugal Mommy started as a way to share my life, my hacks, and my passions—and now it’s opening doors I only dreamed about.
So here’s to every blog post I’ve written, every picture I’ve shared, and every late-night brainstorm that kept me going. Here’s to doing it the real way, my way. My story could be your story if you work hard at it and keep going no matter what anyone says.
I can’t wait to share more when I’m able—but until then, just know this: dreams do come true if you keep working at them.
