This year, I decided to make the countdown to Christmas extra special for my kids. Instead of the usual chocolate advent calendars, I splurged on something a little fancier—and a lot more personal. Each of them is getting their own unique advent calendar that reflects who they are and what they love most.

Each of these calendars was around the $100 mark, so they’re definitely being counted as part of their gifts this year. But honestly, I think they’re worth every penny. They’ll get to enjoy a new surprise every day, and it adds a little bit of magic and anticipation to December.
