We live in one of the most beautiful places in BC and we love to spend lots of time outdoors adventuring around town and enjoying what our great home has to offer. We have plenty of beaches surrounding our gorgeous Okanagan Lake and each one has its own benefits and drawbacks depending on what you are looking for.
Last weekend we spent some time exploring Pritchard Beach in West Kelowna. They have a gorgeous new upgraded playground, huge dock for the kids to jump off of and plenty of beach space for chilling. We love the fact that the bathrooms are well maintained and there is even 2 volleyball pits to play at as well.
We usually bring some snacks and lunch along with floaties and our paddle board and spend the afternoon hanging at the beach with friends. This is by far one of our favourite beaches, we have had lots of birthday parties here as well.
There is plenty of parking and it is in a very nice area of town so crime is not an issue. Try to get there early though as plenty of people live this gorgeous area for a day of fun in the sun!
