Save Money On Laundry & Help The Environment

Laundry is something we are all going to have to live with for the rest of our lives, it’s the chore that never ends. It would be nice to be able to save some money on the whole situation though. I have been researching products that help reduce the amount of money I spend and the amount of waste we produce and the amazing products I found blew my mind!

Ecoegg is a laundry egg that replaces the plastic jugs and bottles of soap and fabric softener. The egg gets filled with soap balls and tossed in the wash for up to 50 washes! Not only is this tiny little box of goodness going to save me money on soaps but it is cutting back on the stuff I have to buy at the grocery store every week!

It’s so easy to use, it all happens in 4 steps!

Detox your machine!

Treat your clothing if needed! EcoEgg has an amazing stain remover product that is the perfect combination for your new laundry routine.

Wash your clothes!

Dry em! EcoEgg also has a wonderful dryer egg that you can use that comes in a wide variety of scents!

So here is some more information on EcoEgg and why it is so darn cool!

If you switch to an Ecoegg Laundry Egg, you are significantly reducing your single-use plastic as it has been designed to replace both laundry detergent and conditioner.

55.8% of UK plastic waste WAS NOT recycled in 2021 (Gov.uk). Even with this statistic we cannot confidently say each item of plastic is genuinely being recycled. Ecoegg Laundry and Dryer Eggs aim to tackle the recycling issue; choosing to reuse laundry detergent over mass producing plastic bottles to recycle.

We have calculated that if you put a load of washing on every day, you could save up to 40 bottles each year per household. In 2021, total worldwide Laundry Egg sales helped to save around 15 million plastic bottles!

The Laundry Egg case is BPA free and recyclable and the Laundry Egg pellets do not contain any palm oil, SLS or SLES, parabens, enzymes, phosphates or microplastics.

The cardboard that they use for all their packaging is FSC approved from sustainable sources and is recyclable. They use vegetable-based inks for their print, which contain no petrochemicals.

If that isn’t enough reason to give it a try it’s also vegan, your products get delivered to your home every month, they have amazing scents, it works great to clean even for messy family of 5 and daycare, and it’s super easy to use! It takes up nearly no room compared to all the other laundry products I have been using!

I am very excited to start saving money on one of my least favourite chores, and can’t wait to see how much more room I have in my recycling bin every month with all those laundry jugs missing.

Check out EcoEgg and start your new laundry journey as well!
